Some of you might have seen my old Web page with some info on the DIY sound card shutter tester...

Now there's a newer version: no batteries required, and equipped with its own light source. You still need a computer, though Smiley

Over on Large Format forum I've read that used Calumet shutter testers go for $200-$300 on ebay... Sheesh...

This one will set you back about $20-$30, I guess... Not quite sure about the going prices for the components at the places where y'all live...
Made by a friend a few months ago, while he was unemployed for a while. I told him he could sell those... But, he can't really charge much for something that DEFINITELY looks like a DIY solution. Besides, he's got a job again, and a lot less spare time for such things.

So, we decided to make a Web page with some kind of instructions, so you could make your own.

So, dust off your soldering iron, and make one for yourself, if you need one.
