Even a freely donated Canon A1.

The following are some shots taken with the A1 that a friend where I used to work donated to me.  Cost me a new battery to get it working.  And a 135mm portrait lens sometime later.  And a 35mm lens when a nearby camera shop closed down.

These shots are from last summer, taken in Amsterdam and shot with the standard 50mm lens.  Film is Ilford XP2 shot at 320 IIRC, and scans are direct from the developer's automated machinery.  I left the colour cast as I quite like it.

Some holy shots:

Dead Door:

Dead Factory:

Derelict factories, or any derelict buildings are quite rare in the city, as land  is scarce and prices sky high.  Available land is quickly re-developed.  This site is being prepared now.

Very cool stuff.   The brick/stone and the lines are great.  That XP2 is great film.  I also shoot it at 320 and even 250 in some cases.

Again, great stuff.  I like #1 and #3 the best.

nice shots.  I really like the dead factory at the end.

the dark reflection in the water and deep shadow of the side of the building give it a nice old mysterious look.

Great shots of the ' Derelick' buildings, I really hope they keep them.
When I was young & foolish back in 1960 I used to drive my 544 Volvo from Frankfurt to' A'Dam' for fun & party. It's really nice to look back at things that I wasn't smart enough to remember back then, and wishing more that I would have taken pictures to back up my stories {mostly true}.
I have went through most of your albums and maybe? I have seen some of them first hand.  ??
   Keep them coming.
