i have recently been influenced by Hokusai's '36 views of Mt Fuji'
and this will be my project for the next few months.
the parameters  :
i will limit myself to  10 images (nice round figure) of a subject, but different perspectives.
what i have not figured out is what medium i will use; I am tending towards the Pentax 67, 1 roll = 10 images.
this is my first serious challenge for a while. i will of course upload for contemplation and critique when done
any thoughts/advice/suggestions?

My next project will be a photo documentary of the inside of a black hole. With the lights off. Cheesy

I'm "working" on a night photo project now, but it's going to take a long time to complete.

I've been thinking about one that will make me more comfortable/productive with a digital SLR.  I don't like the "shoot a million images, one's bound to be OK" approach, but must admit that I lean that way with a DSLR.  So, I've been thinking about doing a project of going to a location, spending at least one hour, and only photographing a single scene.  I won't limit myself to a single exposure; I'm not that good.  I may also put a rule in place that I cannot make an exposure for the first 15 minutes.  All of this naturally happens if I shoot 4x5.  I need to get that same level of thought and care into my digital photography.

Your plan seems like it could be a next step for me.  But, again, I need to finish a project before adding to it.

Well, the night project's being done with a Speed Graphic (but with a digicam as an exposure meter) Smiley

Marto
Give them the Flinders Ranges at dusk and, just to keep Mike happy, flash yourself (you know what I mean Smiley) at the end of the exposure standing in the foreground in the altogether.  Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman will fade into insignificance.
You will of course need a wide lens ... to get all of you in ...
