Can't log in from another Mac

I bought a new laptop. Without being logged in, I can't see any posts at all,*from either Safari or Firefox. When I try to use the Register link from that computer in the hope of doing a password reset, I just get redirected back to the forum home page.

I'll assume that you attempted to access from the new laptop by using a query-derived link via one of the search-engines?

Yep, I was bitten by this problem also.  

If you're using a link that is not "pristine" as Craig mentioned above, your browsers will try to download a stale reference to some of vBulletin's javascript files that no longer exist in the newer version, and just stalled with errors.

It took me a while to sort this one out.

I just changed over to Firefox on this standby computer, I can bring up Photobucket and my albums OK but I don't get any images, just names & info, but no pictures.
   Everything works fine on Explorer and AOL. AOL is going to be history soon .
