Finally it was just rain and a breeze, nothing serious. A few tree branches on the ground.  Hope that the Northern Winter ends soon!

I hope you're able to stay safe, warm & well fed. Down here - especially in Martolod's neck of the woods - it's the opposite extreme that's  reaping havoc.

My son Dan who lives in Louisville. He and his family spent 3 nights in a motel.  Power and telephone lines were brought done by the weight of ice. They lost power, heat and telephone and didn't have a kerosene heater or wood stove as back ups. With 7 years old twins they had to find shelter, which was difficult to find; they got the last room.

Fortunately, they got back into their house today with power, heat & phone all working.
