I have given several local artist permission to use some of my pictures for models but I always get a written agreement. It allows them to use the picture give me credit and take I take 35% of any money made on sales of paintings that were the inspiration of my photo. So far I have made less than 1 K from this but who knows someday one could hit the big time... Whoo Hoo.

I'm not sure what I think about this, actually.

But I am sure that I'm sick of hearing that guy talk about himself and how he feels he responsible for the Obama win.

Well I know I am not responsible for it. That said it was his creation but he did take it from an imagage a photographer took. I mean look at it this way what if somone made a historical painting of a Squeegee photo and called it their own... The family would be due something if the photo was not Public Domain. and then even then at least acknowledgment to the Photo and a donation to a art endowment.

 My thoughts not even a lawyer but I do live above 3 in my building. Smiley
