I'm a fairly new member and today tried to upload an attachment. It was my first attempt at doing this. I tried three different files (all were JPGs) and all were refused with the notation "Invalid attachment".

My question is why? What made them invalid? One was less than 200kb, one was just over 200 and one was in the 300kb range. All were coming directly from my hard drive.

If there is a resolution limit, I haven't seen it anywhere.

I'd appreciate some guidance so I won't waste my time again.

Thanks.

Craig will tell me if I'm wrong but,

You cannot link images directly to the forum.  It takes too much bandwidth.  You need to post the image to a photo site, such as Flicker or Photobucket, and then post the link to the photo.  I use Photobucket and I can link the full size image, or a clickable thumbnail, or a link to folder (as I just did for 'Forgotten Souls Part 2'.

The more computer knowledgable can give you more info.

And welcome aboard.  Don't let a technical glitch stop you from posting.
