When I want to edit a post that has photos in it, the photos appear in the editing box rather than the text links to them.  How do I get the IMG links to appear rather than the photos?  Thanks.

In the editing interface's upper right corner, there is an a/A icon that switches between the BBS markup view and a more WYSIWYG view. When you edit an existing post (or having done a preview, which switches modes), you just need to back into the raw markup mode using that switch.

Testing to make sure I'm not lying again:

Yep, that's it.

How about this: I edited the title of a post in the For Sale/For Trade forum, and it didn't change on the main page, only on the inside thread.  What did I do wrong?

Only I  can edit the master headers for new threads. I'll take a look at your post and modify it accordingly.
