What do you do when.......

My sister bought a speed graphic, beautiful kit, from the original owner who wanted to pass it on. She thought she might try it, it sat there for a few years, she said she'd give it to me, changed her mind and never used it. On our last visit I said "How about I just take it" and she said fine. She went digital a few years ago and also has a beautiful Canon AE-1 program with 7 Canon lenses, autowinder,some Vivitar Ser I, that she no longer uses.
I have offered to buy them from her, sell them for her, and generally get them out for some photographer to use. "Ho-Hum" is all I get.
I don't want them for me, I have enough, but does anyone else get a sense of frustration, or the need to do a midnight raid (just kidding) from family and friends who have beautiful film equipment that you can just feel sitting there rusting ? :mystery:
