Running around with my nieces (more like running after - they are fast) we ended up in the new gardens down in Battery Park. For some strange reason, there is an actual live turkey running around down there. A young gobbler who looks straight out of the Adirondacks. Must have taken the PATH train by mistake. Perhaps he is an actor? Currently starring in the movie, "Chased by All Children Under the Age of 12". Anyway, shot some photos here and there with my AGFA CLACK (a 6x9 plastic lovely about the size of a softball, colloquially called The Weekender I believe) and thought this one particularly nice. I can be fairly cynical about a lot of things, many of them with just cause these days, but I can't say I am not patriotic. Nice gift from France, eh?  Used Fuji Acros and developed it in Xtol, which I think I like better than HC 110 now.

I'm really drawn to the skies you people get from these old cameras. Of course custom developement, scanning/printing helps a lot, I know.
Nice gift from France, wasn't it?  Nice camera, too. Pretty darn good photographer, I might add.  And so, how was the turkey once you got it out of the oven?

Dramatic sky and composition, well done. A picture that says something. What more can I say?
