Neat idea.  At the same time, if I were to go through the expense (4 Nikon flashes=$$) and hassle (think batteries, sync solutions, etc) of using four flashes at the same time, I would rather invest that money in a portable strobelight that uses a rechargable pack, has modeling light, and uses standard softboxes and accessories.
