As info:  Stale threads and posts in the FS and Baby forum will be pruned after 30 days. Maybe sooner.

At lunch time today, I was posting replies to Bappy Hirthday, etc., when all of a sudden I could no longer post using webtv. Is this something permanent? Still can't post. Have to use a dreaded computerizer.

Is there any way for an end-user to set their own preferences for how http://nelsonfoto.com/SMF/index.php?action=recent behaves or displays?

I find it terribly difficult to read in its current form.   A list of recently updated threads is, IMHO, far more user friendly than a listing of all the recent posts.

There now seems to be a "Show unread posts since last visit" link that shows up at the top left of the page near PMs, etc if you're logged in. This seems to behave the same way as the new posts button on the old platform.

Hmmm. I'm not seeing that link.

Fixed.  I was using a different theme.

B.t.w. is /SMF/ going to be the official path or will the forms revert back to /v at some point?

If you are having trouble figuring out the ins and outs of the new forum software, be sure to check the FAQ first before posting here.  This is a new system for me, also, so bear with me.
The new site is dazzling, congratulations on a fantastic job.

My outgoing Private Messages do not seem to appear in the outbox, so I'm not sure they are even being sent.

I saw that one. You have to mark the box below the message frame, "Save to outbox", or sent messages won't appear in the outbox.

A permanent redirect is in place and working now. Your old bookmarks for nelsonfoto.com/v will work fine.

Can we still edit our own messages?

Craig,

Nice job with the upgrade.  It has seemed pretty smooth to me - a little different, but I'm starting to get everything sorted out.

I should note a "problem" with Safari 4.0.  NelsonForums does not seem to automatically "remember" me as logged in.  I'm presented with a login screen and a pull down menu.  It turns out I don't really have to logon, just hit the enter key.  Before I upgraded from the prior version, the site automatically recognized me.  I don't think this is a major issue, but wanted to pass it on.
