Does anyone know if you can have the same copy of PhotoShop CS4 on two different computers??

Yes. Somewhere in the license there is the allowance for installation on two computers. I think Adobe realized that there are now photographers who carry a laptop in the field and have a desktop at home/in the office, and that it would be evil even for them to ask that those people buy two copies of Photoshop.
All of their products allow for two installations. And for simultaneous use.

There's also an option to "de-register" an install so that you can move it, so don't reformat the HD on an older machine before you do that.
