Here's what the seller replied to some questions I asked:
there are many cleaning marks on the front of the lens, the b setting is not working , shutter opens but then closes similar to about a 1/30 sec exp. i don't see any fungus, aperture and focus work correctly, rest of the shutter speeds sound correct. i have not tested film with the camera.

Too much for a fixer with a scratched lens. If he'd take $20, though...

It is too much with a scratched lens. For less, the good thing about uncoated lenses is you can lightly polish the scratches out and not have to worry about coatings.

Yeah, that's why I asked the seller about the camera before clicking the buy-it-now option. It's amazing what Rolleiflex Automat cameras are selling for right now. And I'm just talking about the Tessar/Xenar equipped models... It's hardly worth bothering to look at the f3.5 Planar/Xenotar due to the high prices. I see the Tessar/Xenar models consistently going for over $200, even with just a few pics of a decent looking Rolleiflex and a short, useless description completely lacking any useful content. Something like:
"On auction here is an old camera we found in the attic. Looks like it's in good shape, but we don't know anything about old cameras. All the levers and buttons seem to be working good. Grandpa said these were expensive in their day. Would be nice for a collection, sold as-is."
Best deal I've seen lately was about $160 for a pre-war Automat described in detail as fully working, and it looked pretty good, too. Seller even offered a 7 day return policy. Still, what's up with the high prices for these things?

It's very interesting how prices of cameras rise and fall, apparently for no reason.
A couple of years ago, I couldn't sell a very clean Rolleiflex Automat with a coated Tessar for $175.
Maybe it's time to unload the other 3.5 Planar.

A friend of mine has "found" a huge lot of Rollei TLRs from a deceased collector in the area. Probably about 50 cameras. We're trying to figure out how to proceed but I may have quite a few to unload soon

I'd also be interested in hearing of any user/fixer cameras as well. If there's any chance of a choice, one with an uncoated Tessar would be a delight...

First I have to figure out what is there, then what condition it is in. Then I somehow have to come up with the required capitol!
