Minox 35EL Rewind Crank
«

Does anyone know if the rewind crank assembly on the Minox 35EL comes off easily by loosening the screw in the center of it? Any suggestions where I might look for a replacement (other than buying a parts camera)?

That would be great, Santiago! Do you know if I will get into trouble loosening that center screw?

Frankly, I don't remember- it's been a while since I was inside on of those. But I don't think so. IIRC, the only tricky parts are in the lens assembly.

I have it, and so will you as soon as you PM me your address. BTW, It is totally safe to take the screw out- it only holds the lever to its sprocket.

If that does not work I fixed a Kiev 35 with the rewinder off a cheap $ store camera.. just drilled a hole in it and screwed the damn thing in.
