So...I take it no repairs were necessary?  Nice stuff, Will.  I like the grain from the expired film.

Yeah, didn't want to bore you guys with the story Smiley

The seller told me it came from a closed camera store out of some repair bin.

When I got it, I was confused because the glass is clear, aperture ring is nice, blades snappy and dry, but the focus ring stopped rotating before it gets to infinity.

When I turned the lens and examine the back, I found out the reason.  There is a thin black metal ring that is warped that it blocks the optical assembly from moving (towards film plane) beyond a certain point.

So I carefully took the ring out (three tiny screws), hoping that I can straighten it out, but it's so messed up, so I just leave it out.  Tried the lens on my E-620 via adapter, the pictures looks fine, no light leaks and the lens fit just fine (no play or wiggle).

Then I tried it on the OM-3, and the above pictures are the results.

Very nice. It looks like a nicely made lens, I picked one up cheap and sold it, at 12x what I paid. Same with a couple of other Oly lenses. But now, I have a working OM-1 body. I have three Oly lenses coming in on a trade, plan to give them a good shakeout.
