Great shots, Gene. I like everyone of them—a lot!
I brought my Rolleiflex Automat MX (type 1) here in St. Augustine. It has the 3.5/75 Zeiss Opton Tessar, and in quite good shape all around, but not in as nice a condition as yours. Some people hate the EVS system; I like it and had it on my first two Rolleis: E 2.8/80 Xenotar and E 3.5/75 Planar.
Thanks for showing your splendid Rollei photos. They have inspired me to load my Automat tomorrow and take some pics, pronto!.

Les, are you down in Florida or are you enjoying this fine Northeastern winter in Massachusetts?

Mike,
We've been in St Augustine, Florida since Jan 1st and we're now 2/3 through our annual snow bird escape from the bitter cold of New England . What a sad joke 2010 turned out to be. Tonight and tomorrow night the temp is expected to go down to 23F. It's the coldest winter of the 15 we've been coming here.
In my response to Gene's thread, I had in my first draft the story about the original Rollei Automat you gave me and how I ran over it with my Honda , twice. And how chagrined I was to return to you a seriously wounded Rollei. The replacement Automat was suprisingly very close to your Automat's serial number It had the same lens and was also an MX type 1. Did you ever retrieve enough from the battered mess I sent you back to get another Automat up and running?

Some great pictures of trees with snow! I like both pictures of the bench and tree. You are making best use of a hard winter.

The love affairs we have with our cameras. Ain't it great. Especially enjoyed the interior shots, natural lighting creates the best moods.

Love'em, Gene. The plastic flamingo, the snow-laden tree, the chairs on the deck- but the 4th, the bench especially.
Les- we gotta get over there to see you two, and soon!

Don't be so hard on yourself, Gene. I think I speak for many here when I say I consider you a thoroughly handsome man. (Don't take this the wrong way.)
