Shooting recently with the fish eye I noticed I tend to put circles in the circle. Is this natural?

No engines on the wings, big minigun, 7 barrels - is that an A-10?

The fans they use for engines would mke good circles too.

On the Wart Hogg when they use that gun, the plane will actually decellerate.

Ya they would Ron but the display plane has the guts removed from the engine. Just the big round cowling.

I used to live about 3 miles south of teh 18/36 strip of the local ANG that flew warthogs, a day didn't go by when you didn't see at least a few making a low and slow (as if they can fly any other way) approach at about 500 agl. Still one of my favorite planes, though admittedly growing up watching B-52's and then C-5's flying from Westover AFB jades a guy.

Circles just seem so appealing, the eye naturally completes them, even if you only show part of a circle. A few of my "circle" photos (that I have scanned or shot digitally):

closest to a fisheye I shoot with, a 90mm Super Angulon on 8x10.

Epatsellis - I like the locomotive and Buick shots a lot.  Are you still near Westover?

NO, I left W. Mass about 11 years ago, inconceivably to an even more boring place, Illinois.

I have seen a 2ton truck and an armored track vehicle sort of be melted into the ground by its fire power.
Being an ex Army man I don't know much about aeroplanes but do know that I wouldn't want one of those looking for me on the ground. Those things can almost stall or make an instant squared corner, just tilt and change directions like it was on the end of a stick.

Ronald At one time the Air Force was going to transfer all of the A-10s to the Army but Congress decided that the Army could not operate Fixed wing aircraft and at the same time limited the amount of rotary wing AC that the Air Force could have.
