For an insect that is.
I´m not sure about the cropping of this photo, I centered the insect and pistil in the photo and the top petals seems a nick out of focus.
I did a central crop here but was sondering if leaving a bit of background to the left OR right may work?

Obviously it's pretty good as it is.  I am not sure how much image space you have to play with, however I wonder how it might look if you extended the background in the direction the bee is 'looking', that is, down and out to the right a bit?

Nice bokeh.  It might pay off to show some more of it.

I would try a crop, leaving the upper-left area so that the blue of the insect is in a strong "thirds" point. Look at the petal lines for the precise cropping points. You'd want the blue to balance the yellow, and as Dan said, that OOF is so nice that you have to give it more space (relatively speaking).
