I'm making a Deardorff-to-Technika adapter board right now, and just cut the joints this morning. I think this is my favorite part: half-laps in 3/8" mahogany, that fit perfectly. Very satisfying. Read about it here.

Well, considering Groucho Marx would be nearly 110 years old if he were still alive, then yeah, you could say this was old. I certainly wasn't trying to claim it was my own. Just the [wood], which I substituted for "club", which could also be made out of wood, now that I think about it.

Well, I know there's very limited large format usage here, but I'm happy with how the 'Dorff-to-Tech adapter board is coming, so I'm sharing: Detailed on my blog.

Scott, I'm happy you're sharing -- I'm eager to see your progress. I admire craftsmanship in any field, and am mighty jealous of anyone with the skills to make such beautiful objects.

Thanks guys. I think, after finishing this order, I'm going to stick to rehabbing wooden cameras for a while - the market on lensboards and such NOT made from plywood is frustrating at best right now. And, I've got another clock in the planning stages...
