Real nice there. People quit making fun of my Soviet gear years ago because the proof is in the picture.

Very nice results with that classic set. Old CCCP steel and glass deliver the goods most of the time.

Thanks, guys. I have had pretty good luck with J8's & J12's. A few years back, Brian Sweeney reset a J8 to ltm standards to use on a Bessa R2A. That worked out well. I know the Zorki 3 has a rep for problems, but this one has been gone thru by E. Smolov, and the J8 was CLA'd by B. Sweeney. Brian said that it had the original Zeiss glass, which the Russians used until they ran out.  It is a stunner to look at, the nicest FSU that I have seen. Just don't use the slow speeds!  :eek: I'll post a shot of it soon.
