Looks like your niece is saying something to the camel and that the camel is actually listening intently. She must know the magic camel words. We saw camels with jobs in Kenya. The camels would sit and munch until the camel driver would come up and make a hand motion or a little sound (nothing we could see or hear) and all the camels would get up.
Does she work with these or is she just good with big ornery animals?

This animal came from an abused animal shelter in Nevada and belongs to the the ranch across the highway from Cindy.
Cindy bought or traded for a couple of those miniature horses and at feeding time the little horses snort and make horsey noises which brings the camel to the fence line. So she takes a handful of feed to the camel. They are pretty good friends and she does talk to him? and he seems to pay attention and will nuzzle her cheek with his nose.
She said when the camel arrived it could hardly stand up and staggered when he walked. I guess someone had almost starved the poor animal to death.

A good one, Ron. They're so odd looking, but what a masterpiece of engineering.

You are right Dean, the nose profile has been copied by a few car and truck manufacturers .
