I got back my front standard for my Crown Graphic. I'd bought a spare front standard a while ago to modify but couldn't justify the cost of the tools for one project. Then I found a guy up the block with a machine shop. $25 later I'm set Smiley

As shown in the bad digital snaps, the sides were drilled a little bit to give tilt in both directions:

& the underside ground on quite a bit to allow swing:

but the front is now capable of full movements unlike most Graflex cameras.

This isn't really a capability I've been missing, reallly, but it is something I have been wanting learn to make use of.  And, frankly, it's not like I can afford any other LF camera anytime soon, so my little hacked together Crown Graphic field camera can do just a little bit more. Hopefully I can find some time tomorow to set up a still life to practice a couple of sheets on.

Shootin' round corners!  Wow, what a great idea.  Good luck with this, William, I'd love to see an example of a round-the-corner shot.

Looks like you may need to upgrade to a 4x5 enlarger or a newer and more expensive scanner... Did I mention I have an Omaga D 4x5 that is just collecting dust?

I always wanted to do that with a Graphic, but I got rid of mine.  Maybe, one of these days...

I was going to make a smart crack about neither making a contact paper. Then I decided to check... I'm just now coming up for air Wink

It seems there is a new silver chlorate contact paper from Foma. $32 per 25 as opposed to $50 per 25. Combined with Arista.EDU ultra 100 and some Pyrocat HD & Amidol I might just be able to afford learning this process.

PF, this camera is not something that the folks in Rochester would recognize LOL but I like it. I did almost sell it off earlier this year. Fortunately  for me, no one bit

Will, let me know when you make the back do the same thing.  I know you're thinking about it.
