OK as of Midnight tonight I am officially unemployed and happy for it. I though see much money in my collection so as to add to what i will be getting from unemployment insurance I have some great stuff thing is most of it is in bulk rolls. So I was going to load and sell first the Kodak Technical Pan in 36 exp rolls and sell it on ebay at $15.00 a roll I know it goes for much more but I was thinking 15-20 would be a fair price. any other thoughts?

Selling the whole roll tends to go for only about $1.00 cents a foot from what I see.  This way I can get more and use it to set up selling other bulk Specialty films I have bulk collected. Things like the APX-25 that has been frozen since new... *WEG*

TechPan is a bit of an odd duck. When it disappeared, there weren't many widely available alternatives.

But now, there is Rollei ATP (Advanced Technical Pan) and Rollei Retros 80S.

I really love TechPan, which I've always felt was best processed in Technidol. I've processed it in Rodinal 1+300.

As far as price, I think you're a bit high but within reason. Your best bet is on eBay where people seem to be willing to pay above fair market value. Plus, on eBay, you have to factor in eBay's many fees.

I thought that right after TechPan was canceled, the price for a 150-foot roll jumped to $300.

For friends here I am lower I know what it gets on the auction sight.... I also have Technidol and the Rollei stuff I have used and it is not even in the same league. As for the Rollei80S I use that as an everyday film in Diafine in case you have not looked at my threads or my streams... Sorry about the stream thing as I also have used Urine as developer. Smiley

I sure hope I did not sound like a cranky old guy with a bad wig. Smiley

The U.S Air Force and NASA kept it alive but when they no longer needed it it went away ... It was used in the SR-71 and U-2 but those cameras went digital so it was no longer worth making and what was sold in later years was what was frozen and cut smaller from the 5 inch wide reels after the master reels were finished...

Great stuff.. wish you had some. Smiley

A guy in Israel is selling home-rolled 36-exp rolls of Tech Pan in a BIN on eBay, 5-each for about $26.90, IIRC.    Shipping from there to anywhere is less than $7.00.  So you don't look to be offering a competitive price, bro.
