Okay, diff'ernt kinda box, but a box nonetheless:

It's a Gundlach Korona IV whole plate cam.  A new style for me, but came with two plate holders, including all four film sheaths.  Has a few minor things to fix, but I've already got the latch back in working order, and the biggest decision will be whether to recover with new leather or strip and refinish the wood underneath (in all likelihood, mahogany).  I'm liking the leather, though.  It's got some neat design considerations built in - the front opens with a hidden button, similar to old Speeds.  Has integral rear tilt - the reversible back is released by two hidden buttons, and then pivots on nickled hardware.  The interior is in spectacular shape, as I guess most closing box cameras are sue to the protection they've gotten.  About 18" of draw, and the bellows appear sound.  The ground glass cover is hanging by a thread, but leathers are cheap on eBay these days, and a new skin would fix that.

I think, though, I'm going to douse the leather in black polish and Bick 4 and see how it looks.  Have about half a box of 8x10 Arista.EDU Ultra 100 left - going to get a rotary cover and start trimming film - cheaper than buying WP film for now.  And I have the option of shooting plates with it someday.

I likes it. Cheesy
