Southern Plantation

Thought I'd try and see if I could attach an image from another forum site.  Obviously it works.

The shot was taken at the Pamplin Historical Park and Civil War Museum in Petersburg VA (which is where I'm originally from more or less).  It's a restored plantation farm, a small plantation typical of the mid-1850 south, not the large Gone With the Wind type most people envision.  It's also the site of the Battle of the Breakthrough, the point at which the Union forces broke thru the Confederate defensive line surrounding Petersburg.

It was taken with a FED 3b and 35mm J-12 on Plus-X @ IE 250, yellow Zeiss filter, developed in Diafine.  Used the hyperfocal setting and sunny f/16 rule.



This was the first time I've used Diafine and am impressed with the results.  Also shot a roll of TMax 100 @ IE 160 and developed it in the same tank and it came out great too.  Can't get much easier than that.

The processing (tones, etc) looks good to me, Brian.
As far as comp, subject, and all that...
I may be thick, but I'm not sure what the subject should be.  The bench, the building or the tree.  As a scene, it's a bit jumbled, with lines that seem to go in every direction.  
I don't mean I don't like it.  It looks nice.  It wouldn't hold my attention for long, though.  Home in on something maybe, like the wheels and corner of the building.  
My two cents.  It's the critique forum.
