Just got my first 100' roll of Arista Edu Ultra 100 and it wasn't on a reel/spool. Is this normal? Will it dispense this way without scratching? I loaded this in a Watson loader. I also got a roll of Arista Premium 100 (Plus X?), but haven't put it in a loader yet, so I don't know if it is on a reel, or not. Any thoughts on this?

I used to break down larger rolls to fit into bulk loaders and never had a scratching problem. Are you sure there was not a small cardboard roll in the center? I have gotten some films like that.

False alarm: The roll was on a rimless spool. The Watson that I bought used did not have the small 1" x 1 3/8" cylinder with it. I'll make one.
Larry: Thanks for your input.
