A guy locally has asked me to develop two rolls of this stuff, which he says he shot at box speed, so I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on how best to develop it.

I've found data for Acufine, D-76, HC-110(B), and Rodinal 1+25 and 1+50.  Which would be best, and what would you recommend for agitation, actual dev. time, etc.?

Obviously nobody saw this one, as I posted it on Dead Day Friday, but I figgered it out on my lonesome: Rodinal 1+50 for 16 min. @ 20 deg. C, agitate at 30-sec. intervals.  I think it turned out great, but you'll never see a sample here since it was a paid developing gig, and the happy customer took the negs away.

P.S. I made my Rodinal 1+50 from a stock of 1+25 I mixed up last month.  There was some "dust" at the bottom of the bottle, but it mixed back together OK.  I read somewhere you're not supposed to do that, mix so much in advance.

Sorry I couldn't help you out on that one Pete, but I haven't done any developing for over twenty years now.  Glad your customer was happy!

I've processed this in Adox ATM-49 with good results. I think that developer is similar to Microdol-X.

I haven't tried your developer. Maybe, there are some samples around the Web with TMax 3200 processed in different developers.

Mike, there are so many different developers out there, and I would like to try more of them.

Me too. :-) HC-110 and Acufine though have been all I have used for about a month now.
