Hi Larry,

I tried to find some XX awhile back, based on a post here on NfF (probably you), but could not. Is it still available?

Yep it and XXX are the last 2 35mm movie films made by Kodak. I have not seen short ends in ages but a new 400 foot roll is still around $120-150 you just have to search for it. It is listed as Eastman 5222, Double X and even xx. Sometimes adding Kodak to the search will bring up more.

This is where I got my last roll I see the price has gone up a little but when you figure the price of 4 100' rolls it is still a deal.

Man, if only there was a way to go halfsies or quartersies on a roll of this stuff.  I'd do it for sure.  The last roll I used of the stuff you gave me, Larry, had a bunch of scratches on it and some fuzz got into the roll somehow, but the first one was dreamy.  Not that I'm complaining about free film!  Just letting you know, bro.

Well all the XX I have is not from the same source. I may have sent you some of the old and new. I do know that all I have left here is of the newest roll I got and that is down to around 100" so maybe in a month or so depending on how the Government feels about me staying unemployed I will think about going 1/2 on a roll with you.
