It's been a while since I updated my photo-journal.
This time it's about a rare Polaroid in a party.

Excellent entry, Will.  Was your Fuji film really only 1 dollar a pop?  Or was that a typo?  Not sure why you would say "ouch" over such a low price.

Thanks, Pete.

A 'pop' is a sheet of print, hence the 'ouch'.
A box costs me $9.99.

Great stuff. If I go to an event like a wedding, party, or anything I think there's likely to be many photographers, I always bring my old Polaroid 110a and the Fuji 3000b film. It's an eye-catcher for sure, but your post hits the nail on the head as to the real gem-like quality of the prints it produces. Great skin tones, smooth, and sharp at the same time. I love the film.

Erich,

Wonderful shot. It's easy to turn heads with these in today's digital world isn't it? Smiley

Did you retrofit the 110a with a 405 back yourself?
Post a pic of it here if you could.

I did not do this one myself. I had an old 110a I attempted to convert to 120 film but I lacked the resources and motivation to make it work properly in the end. This one I bought pre-converted to packfilm by Four Designs. I don't have any good photos of the conversion lying around, but if you want a decent photo of how it was done I could accommodate you.

Erich, where you been, man?  Haven't seen you around these parts in a while.  I have always loved that snap of the two girls on the blanket, especially the smile of the girl on the right.  She's a stunner, in my book.

Erich,

The reason I asked is because I just completed my own conversion Smiley
I'll post a link to it later today.

This is all good stuff.  And if you keep it up, I'm going to have to get me another 110B (converted, of course).
