I have an Epson V600 Scanner now!
These are my first attempt for to get scanned film images.
Original photos were taken with a Rolleiflex 3.5F, Leicaflex SL and Nikon F3

I’ll be grateful for any commentary.

CarlosE.

I can't remember the last time I saw some of your shots, Carlos, but these are great.  And two fine characters you have there.

Carlos - the first three are not just great scans but great photos.  Keep it up.  There is nothing quite like the field of view of those 6x6 machines.  Scan and post!

Hey - were #2 & 3 the Nikon F3? if so that Epson (and/or your technique with it) has give excellent results.  Let's have the details.  How do you do so good with 35mm negatives on a flatbed scanner?

Carlos - They are all beautiful shots, but numbers 2 and 3 have something special for me.  Your scanning looks flawless to me.

Awesome! These are great pictures, never mind the scan which seems quite decent (maybe a tad too much contrasty?)

I'm feel good now and I'm very happy with the results from the V600 Scanner.
Here in Chile, I can't get the V700 model because Epson Chile, can't to sell here "articles with 110 V" (here we use 220 V) and without "in Spanish instructions"...Huh
-------------
Martolod,...I use the V600 Scanner software and resize in Photoshop.
Sandeha,...Dear friend, Thank you very much. It must be because I have exellent photographers friends.
Paul,...Many years ago (April 2007), here in NF forum I had a friend (Michael Harris) and he was very confused with the "Scanner Settings" and all that "new technologie". You generously, teach him the "two ways of scanning". I copy that and now, four year later, I apply your teaching. Thank you very much Paul.
Dan,...Thanks you very much for your commentary. The photos 2 and 3, were taken with a Leicaflex SL and photos 4 and 5 with a Nikon F3. ..."My technique" as you say,  it's not "my" really. It's PC Headland technique, I learned from him.
I scan at "a specific dpi" and set the output size to "original" in Professional mode. For 6x6 film, I scan at 2400dpi and for 35mm, I scan at 3200 dpi. I use the originals V600 film holders.
James,...the women in the photo 2 it's the wife of the man in the photo 3. He is an "muleteer", (I don't know if this denomination is correct) In Spanish it's "arriero". People who works in the mountain carrying horses, cows, mules. They are people very, very poor,
but people very sensible and very, very good.
Red,... Thank you very much. I'm going to post anothers soon.
Julio,... Thank you very much...Many years only taking and developing my photos. Now I begin to show them.

Great shots!  For a first time scanner, you're doing a well!

I have the V700 & I use it with Vuescan.  I get much better results from it than from PS or the Epson software.  Also, if you're going to be doing a lot of MF, get the 120 holder from http://www.betterscanning.com/  It's MUCH better quality than that cheap, POS that comes with the scanner.

Captain,
Your opinion it's very important for me. Thanks you very much.
The V700 was the scanner that I thought to buy but, it isn't available here in Chile.
Till the moment I'm very happy with the V600. Anyway I'm going to look the holders from Doug Fisher, thanks again.
