Waiting for the light

I found one of these in the Goodwill store down the street, and thought it had some promise.  I just gave it a quick look before I took it to the check-out counter, and when I got home, dicovered that someone had put a finger through the shutter.  No big loss I figured, it will look great on the collection shelf.  But I kept looking at that 1.9/40mm, and decided to get a working model.

I like it!

This one looks like a keeper. I like the "loose rocks" picture, nice composition. The one of the mare, Lunch Time, is also great!

Must be an age thing with me, P&Sers are about the only cameras I have used lately, sort of lean towards Oly Stylus Epics, Think I may have at least 10 of them
I also liked the 'mare' photo, but they all turned out well cept one, not bad for one roll, I usually get two or three 'keepers from a roll :p

Oh, don't worry Ron, there was more than one bad shot.  But then I was using a camera that I didn't bother to read the manual before I headed out the door.  Mostly it was my getting too close for the auto-focus to operate correctly, but the metering is really good.

Thanks, Julio.  Although I'm looking for shots that will put the camera to work, I see no reason why they can't be somewhat interesting too.

Very nice.  I love that people are dumping all their old analog camera equipment, just means more for us!

I bought my Dad one of these for Christmas ca. 1981.  Except for my wife's digital, I think it still rates as the "new" camera in the household!
