I opt'ed for the blue from camera leather.  I figure that blue and silver look will fit in nicely with my Navaho brothers.

I also have one of these that I bought in 1964 from a pawn shop when I was in the army.  It hasn't worked since 1965, but I'd like to get it going again.
Do you have any photos of how to get into this camera?  Everything appears to work, except the shutter blades do NOT open. (I think the shutter button may be making contact because when I wind the film advance lever, it can not be advanced again until the shutter button is pushed.)  I'd appreciate any info on how to proceed from here.

Ed I didn't take too many phots but after Dean showed me it's pretty easy to get into and fix.

To get to the shutter you remove the focus ring, you'll see these tiny screws around it.

To remove the metal ring with the name of the camera you see 2 screws on either side, take those.

Remove the front element by unscrewing the focus, mark where it comes off so you'll have correct focus.

Under the ring with the name you'll see a ring nut around the lens barrel with a tiny screw at the top.  Turn that tiny screw and it will allow you to remove the ring by unscrewing it.

After thats off you can remove the speed ring and see the inner workings of the shutter.  A few drops of lighter fluid could get it all working just but working the shutter at different speeds.

If it needs more I'll take another one apart and take pictures.  I took mine apart all the way down to the shutter blades.

PM me if you need help, I'll do what I can.

Ed tonight I'll take one apart and take pictures.  I'll post them here so you can see the removal.  I've only done one of them but had alot of fun getting it working, I bet your's will be just as much fun fixing and using.

Michael!  You didn't take many photos?   You're going to be knee deep in something sometime, and you will rue the day that you didn't heed my advice to use that digicam!  That's what they're good for

Ed, if it doesn't go after what Michael said, take out the shutter by removing the top and bottom, (remove leather).  You will see four screws that go into the body casting, (two each top and bottom).  Remove them and the front panel will come out of the camera so you can access the shutter.  You need to take out this panel to get to the sync wires so you can remove the shutter.

Take pictures Ed.  (You too, Michael   )

I just took it back apart and took pictures this time.  Uploading them now.  I had a few pictures but I had deleted some of them.

up some tools, although from the pics everything looks like a regular set of
jewlers screw drivers may suffice.
