I won this camera when my bid that I thought would not hold up went through.  I guess no one else was looking at the time.  Figured it would at least be a little fun to use sometimes.

And of course, you can always crop it

I guess I don't take a lot of 'fun' pictures anymore.  I started to run out of things I wanted to use this effect on.  Subsequently, I wasted a third of the roll, which I rarely ever do.  I'm usually trying to squeeze a couple of extra shots out by short loading.

I would like to have a real fisheye lens, or at least a converter, so I could actually see what is in the field of view, and change the lens out when I'm done with those shots.  Version 2 of this camera does come with an attached auxillary finder, but then you are still dealing with a parallax problem.  So it really is more usefull as an extreme wide-angle, than a fisheye (which it really isn't anyway).  And if it was't for the fact that you need to run 400 speed film to get a good exposure, it might be a decent performer.  Well, except for all the edge distortion.  And the illuminations inside the lens barrel/shade.

Well, it looks fun to me!  I've never owned a fisheye.

I'm sure I'd run out of ideas, too, though.

Looks like you are having a good time with it!

Here's some shots with mine (wow, was that really 5 years ago?):

Justin, looks like mine has less distortion than yours does, so they must have made some improvements.  And Reed, it is a fun camera, but I just couldn't get into it.  It's kind of bulky, and being white, it sticks out like a sore thumb.

They are a bit of fun. I like your pictures.

I had a bit of fun a few months ago with a Lomo Fisheye, too.  I can't remember if mine is the earlier model, but it has a flash that vignettes like crazy. Here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/flipflik/sets/72157627006156097/with/5424417253/.

Philip, I finally made the connection.  You Anglicized your name here.  And the cat didn't look too happy about it.
