It is raining today, so I looked out of the kitchen window again.

A color removed image too:

This time, I tried some crazy PS setting, just for the fun of it. I love colors.

I also tried out some B&W conversions after obtaining color images with ultra high contrast settings.

That's the spirit, Raid.  Experiment as much as possible.  One good thing about the new digital world is the ability to try different things, and see the results without throwing away a load of paper.  These are very interesting versions, although I must say I really like the first picture, with the water hitting the branch, and spraying everywhere.  And the colors of the fourth one are fantastic.

Thanks. I enjoyed seeing the rain drops bouncing off the leaves. The colorful version is just from raising contrast very high with PS, but the colors originate from different sectors in the viewfinder, as I composed the image. There are greens from the trees, and yellows from paint on the street, and reds from the plants,....

I forgot to mention that I used the digital Olympus EP-2 with a Zeiss 85mm/1.4 SLR lens wide open. One shot may have been taken with a Canon 50/1.2 RF lens.

Raid - been meaning to say for some time, that very first one of the water hitting the leaves is just lovely.  Amazing what you can turn out in idle moments on a rainy day.

Thank you, Dan. All it takes is to appreciate beauty around us each day. I am always at awe at how wonderful life is.
