Hello all.

I've been here for a bit now, but I haven't properly introduced myself.

Ich heiße Erich, and I'm from the city of Ypsilanti, Michigan. I'm 24 years old right now, and just really starting to get into photography in earnest. I've always toyed around with cameras - my first "serious" one was a Minolta 400si SLR, which I still have, but do not use much because I have no decent lenses for it.

I went to college at Eastern Michigan U, graduating in '03 and again in '05 with a BA in English and German, and a secondary teaching certificate. All that time I didn't play with cameras at all, but then Flickr came around. I found the site last year and instantly fell back in love with film. I bought myself some Polaroids, more cameras then a scanner, and most recently a negative scanner. I have yet to start developing at home, but that will come.

Oh, I've been married for nearly 3 years now too, quite happily. My wife Holly is going into Vet school next year, so we're in for a bit of a ride - moving either to Lansing or California, depending. And we have a house rabbit, Samantha. I'm glad to have found these forums - Flickr is getting pretty big and losing some of its community spirit. It's nice to have a close-knit community to come to.

Anyone like New Zealand Whites?  BIG rabbits.  Could have gotten one for the girls for free but the wife said no.

I had a pet rabbit live for about 15 years.  Nice animals.

Sam is an English Spot mix - she's big, but not Norwegian Giant big - about 8 lbs or so. She's a handful, but she's very sweet too. Right now she's circling me trying to get me to feed her. Gotta go!

As a boy, I raised rabbits for a while, 4H-related. I still like rabbits. Taste like chicken.
