Welcome to Cannington. by Bill Smith1, on Flickr

Camera: Canon F1n, Various Canon FD Glass. Film Ilford Delta 100, Tmax 1+4 developer.

A Quick Background:

My family settled in British North America (now Canada) in Durham region east of Toronto in the 1830s, my branch up in Cannington with is an hour and half to two hour's drive North East of me. I went up with a friend from the Oakville Camera Club to explore the town and for me to see with my own eyes where my branch the Smith family from Forres Scotland settled. Thing is the extended family arrived in Canada with Patriarch and I think six brothers and one sister. There are a lot of Smiths floating around Durham. I'm definitely heading back before the end of fall.

Family history is always a good thing to research.  You never know who might show up.
