We've got one of those Bill, in the Virginia Museum of Transportation. It came from the Washington, D.C. system, and because they would not rebuild their turntables, they ordered their PCC's with one less window so they would fit.

The TTC still has two PCC cars for special event and film rentals and they get used. There's a Trolley museum north of me with a bunch old TTC PCC cars in working condition and I have to get up there at some point for a photo shoot.

We're still running 'em here, as is SF. "Ashmont-Mattapan High-Speed Line" here, and part of the Muni system in SF...

Toronto retired the PCC cars in the 1990s in favour of the ones in the back of the photo, nowhere near as cool.
