I just learned that my local lab no longer processes E6. I've been shooting more and more digital instead of colour transparency, and shoot practically none in 35mm, but I still enjoy the odd 120 roll. They look so magnificent!

Ah well, I can still mail them to Toronto but I just don't see that happening very often Sad

It's around NZ$20 per 120 or 35mm roll here nowadays, and only one place that still does it in Wellington.  They even have the cheek to charge more for 220 now, whereas in the past it was the same as 120.  I think 4x5 or 9x12cm sheet film is $NZ12 per sheet.

Criminal I tell ya, criminal, innit?

I know how you feel Mike. Just picked up a roll of E-6 at my local lab today and he sounded like they're not long for this world either. When I started going there I could get same day service (as long as I dropped it off early enough). Now they are down to e-6 on just tuesdays and thursdays IF they have enough to run.

Looks like Wally world send out might be in my future as well.

I'm lucky to have an E-6 lab within walking distance to me. That said, I don't shoot much color film these days. Still have a bit though and hope to use it up over time.

Color is mostly Digital for me these days. I am thinking of selling all my e6 film off as the prices they are getting is worth more than the happiness they give me.
