We didn't have the grandest Fall colors in Minnesota this year.  But here in St. Paul the extended good weather has let me get out to neighborhood parks to see what there is to see.  The photos that follow were taken at Como Park.

Some colors were quite deep and bright:

Later in the day with the sun lower in the sky, the scene is pretty peaceful even if muted.

Fuji 200 is my favorite (and most available) film nowadays.
Perfect for fall colors like this.

The second and third shots are very pretty.

I've never tried any 200 film, maybe I should!

I specially like the fact I can get four 24 exp rolls of the Fuji 200 at Walmart for about the same price as a 36 exp roll of Kodak anything at our pro shop.

Thanks to Will, Nancy, and PF for the comments.

Apologies for the dust spots and crop debris on two of the photos.  Maybe this is a good time for me to learn how to edit posts that are already up.

Fuji 200 also has an advantage for the half framer-- it's readily available in 12 exposure loads (24 or more hf photos).

Ahhh, I miss Autumn!  It's my absolute favorite season, and we don't seem to have it in South Texas.  Palm trees' leaves don't change color, unless they've got blight or something.  :p

This is a nice reminder of what Autumn is truly like.  Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, Pete, for your comments.  I agree with you about Autumn; we've certainly had a nice one this year-- if the reports are right, today will be the first snow of the season.  Winter, on the other hand, can be a little harder, especially for taking pictures outdoors.

Olypen,

This is a fine series of autumn foliage. Here in MA is was one of the blandest in years. Vermont always got loads of tourist coming from near and far to see the zenith of New England foliage. We've had many great ones in Massachusetts, but this year wasn't one of them, a least in my area 25 miles west of Boston.

I must be in my dottage, because my recollection was I made an earlier comment on this thread. I saw it from day one. Sorry!

Lesged,

Thanks for the comments.  Getting to see New England in the Fall is still on my list of things to do.
