saw this recommended on Ken Rockwell's site along with a flock of other interesting photography books and decided to start with it and work my way through his list of recommended titles....

The cover lists the price as US 44.95 and Canada 55.95 but Amazon sells it for 29.95.

I am just part way through and am enjoying it and finding some interesting ideas to apply to my own work.  Recommended.

I received a copy of Bruce Barnbaum "Art of Photography" for xmas this year and have just started to thumb through it and looks good so far.  Two years ago my wife and daughter got me a copy of "Tone Poems" book 1,  for xmas as well.  I enjoy his work though trying to listen to the music include with the Tone Poems and reading the book gets a little tricky at times.
