I suggest a new theme on "backlit subjects." Below is a recent one of mine and I invite others to add theirs. It has a broad spectrum and any photo that members have taken, against the sun or artificial light, fits this thread.  Olympus C-4000Z

Thanks for priming the pump. Those are three excellent photos. My favorite is the first one. I like the balance between the silhouette and the translucent areas.
OT: I see you're from Arlington, MA. Historical note: I performed with the Arlington Friends of the Drama in the 1960s.
