Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, Dan and Annie!  Good thing you used a long lens to keep out of the water on that second shot.  Very dramatic look to it.

Dan,

Merry Christmas and a very happy, healthy, hearty New Year to you and your family.

What a contrast between the warmth and comfort of your family photo above and turmoil in the photo below it. Sure looks like a lovely way to spend Christmas eve.

Thanks so much to all of you.  Life is precious and good.  I have the Steve Jobs biography to read (and a history of Paris, and the latest Michael Connolly book on how to be a good trial lawyer - and he knows what he is talking about) and Anne has a Kindle.

God bless you all.
