Santiago, when I was about five years old, I too had one of those die-cast Route Master bus Dinky Toys - but mine wasn't painted white.....

Graham, that's not Santiago's pic, it's mine.  Smiley  The bus shown here wasn't originally white, either, but had been repainted by someone before my son got it.  It was a hand-me-down toy, played with by all the children in my wife's family and kept for sentimental reasons by her cousin, then sent to us before Keane was born.  Keane, naturally, played with it until it fell apart, so I kept repairing it.  I think he still has it, but I can't be entirely sure.
