my geography sucks......but im purrty sure the Moon is not a terrestrial resident.
therefore the statement above cannot exist ...and with that the problem of correct exposure has been eliminated.

just thinking out loud........  :p

Actually if the current theories on the origin of the Moon are right a good chuck of the Moon used to be part of the Earth

Was going to shoot the full moon tonight, but it's been raining all day, and I don't expect the clouds to part till the wee hours of the morning.

I want to do anything tonight... I did though shoot some with the Oly 35 EC I got from Dean in drawing #1. I keep it in the truck and only camera I had at the hospital... I will try to develop it tomorrow... Ohh sorry if this has nothing to doo with shooting the moon but I saw way too many this week in the hospital... those gowns don't close well and the people walk the halls. Smiley

theory goes very very early a mars sized body hit the infant earth a glancing blow, blew off part of earth's mantle and the debris coalesced into our moon

Aha.  Good one Lili.

Reminds me, the Moon is waning and I had better get cracking.

when I manage it Lili it will not be as clear and 'floating' in eternal darkness as these shots.

We have more storms.  The moon lies hidden beneath a cloud.

And listen to the singing dusk
As the moon lay hidden beneath a cloud ,,,
