I thought that he meant it in the vein of "preserve/record the world (on film) - rather than just ones and zeros".

I will end it now... I shoot both.. but I prefer film for the look of Larry. My Digital shots look like my fathers home shots of me and my brothers growing up... For my art I will use film for my grand children they will get both... LOL

I enjoy film photography far more than digital. The digital photography is for quick results to post online. This is it. Matching old lenses with certain types of film is lots of fun.
