Ebay, we'll see how it goes. Includes my whole Mamiya Super 23 kit, separated out. Also an OM 24mm f/2.8, and a Vivitar Flat Field Zoom 90-180mm in FD mount. Link to the goods.By the way, I have it set to ship only to North America. Anyone have experience selling internationally? The shipping cost stops me at this time, I had an inquiry from italy on the Mamiya body but it was at least $70 to ship it due to size and weight. I also worry about fraud. Erich

A lot of things are excempt from duties here when it leaves the country, such as anything under $2,500.00. But when it gets to the other end is another matter. And time of shipment varies greatly. I sent one camera from here in Virginia to the Netherlands, and it took a week and a half to get there. Sent another one to Newfoundland, and it took about a month.

I've shipped camera equipment all over the world (England, Italy, Romainia, Crotia, Norway, Sweden, Japan, Austrialia, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Mexico, South America, Canada, maybe some more places) and never had a problem. Usually ship it International Priority because you can insure it and it's trackable. First Class isn't. Usually takes 10 days. International shipping cost are starting to get very expensive. But compared to the rest of the world, USPS prices are cheap. The buyer usually knows what the VAT is going to be so they take that into consideration. My philosophy is "If they want to pay for it, I'll ship it."

Good to know. I think I worry more about fraud than anything else.

Also I seem to have underpriced some of it. Three buy-it-nows are selected already.

I saw the photos on Flickr, and if not for budget constraints, would have liked to gotten it. The lens you have left for the Mamiya is doing good so far. Those always looked like fun cameras to have, like my Rapid Omega 200 was.

If you're selling, I don't see why you're worried about fraud, unless you're afraid of committing it yourself. The fraud is usually perpetrated on the selling end.

Well nowadays with credit cards and paypal, I worry more about chargebacks. Paypal essentially does not protect the seller at all if the buyer institutes a chargeback through their credit card company. The buyer essentially says "the product was guaranteed to be x condition and was in y condition" and their credit card gives them the money back, and you're left in the lurch. Read this article

Paypal is evil. I have been ripped off by them twice. When ebay began requiring paypal I closed my account (and THAT was a major fight in itself) and haven't used it since. Every time I see something I would like and get tempted, all I have to do is remember paypal.
Ebay? Never again.
