You can't make us jealous here in Southwestern Virginia, Claudia. The flowers are starting to bloom already! But yours are much prettier.

These are very pleasing photos. Each of the three perspectives adds to the total effect.

Sigh. We're in the middle of another snowstorm. Your lovely pictures make me envious.

Very nice, such beautiful colours. So nice to see flowers in the midst of a particularly grey winter.

Here is a more complicated hibiscus. It is bi-color and double bloom and grows in front of one of the numerous first floor condos in Ocean Gallery in St. Augustine, FL, where we've spent the winter months.for the last 18 years. Oly C4000Z

Very nice Claudia. Your pictures are making me feel all tropical.
When I was real little my mother (a florist) used to tease me because I would call these blooms Hibiscuits! Pass the butter.

Lovely pictures Les and Claudia! I really like the color of that yellow one. Here's a pic of the one that lives on our deck during warm weather. We don't get to many blooms from it, what with the squirrels eating the buds. Hibiscus by Hoosier Rich, on Flickr
