Of course, to get undistorted images I had to use the wifey's Canon.

All three are lovely, but the top one is my absolute favorite. It is a keeper and a half. Nay, it's superb! Bravo!

Yup, I agree -- straighten the horizon of that top one and you could blow it up for a huge, lovely portrait that will have many satisfying years of crushing embarrassment for Tadeo!  Smiley  Think of the future moments when you meet his girlfriends and point them to this portrait on your wall.  *evil chuckle*

I can't say anything that hasn't already been said. 

Well, maybe an opinion on most people's family pictures: that mostly they aren't really beautiful pictures. But these are two things I like in (those few) family pictures: wonderful tokens of family experiences, AND beautiful pictures.  Tadeo's lucky to have you taking the pictures.
