The fellow I did the El Camino pictures for asked if I would do a poster-sized print with a montage or collage of a dozen or so of the pictures.  I can do prints up to 13x19, and I'm comfortable with on-screen arrangements of multiple images using html.  However, doing this sort of thing on paper seems to me to require some design expertise that is beyond my experience or talents.  I would appreciate and thoughts or experiences regarding this sort of thing.  I don't want to charge the guy much for this, and it seems like it could end up being very time-consuming.

Should be easy to handle each photo as a photoshop layer.  I often make montages not for art's sake, but to squeeze several smaller photos on a larger sheet of paper.

Mike, Picasa has a built-in function for this postering/mural deal. IIRC, they're the one's who bought out the guy that was selling same sort of program on ebay. I've tinkered with it and it seems to work wonderfully from the standpoint of interpolation. I've not yet printed with it. It's a free download.

Thanks for those good suggestions.  I've got both programs, so it seems like a good start.
